Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
This document explains what cookies are, which ones the site www.homio.com.br uses and how you control each category. It complements the Privacy Policy.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a site stores in your browser to remember something between one page and the next. Similar technologies, such as local storage and device identifiers, do the same job and are covered by this policy.
2. The four categories
2.1 Necessary
Without these the site does not work. They store your choice in the consent banner, keep the checkout session alive and support the bot protection on the forms.
They cannot be turned off, because without them there is no site to deliver. The basis for them is legitimate interests, not consent.
2.2 Statistics
They count visits, show which pages are viewed and for how long, and where people give up. They exist to improve the pages, not to identify you individually.
2.3 Marketing
They make it possible to measure the result of advertising and to show Homio content on other platforms to people who have already visited the site.
Accepting this category also authorises a send that is not made by the browser: when you book a demo or subscribe to a plan, our server confirms that conversion to Meta, identifying you by an irreversible cryptographic digest of your email address and phone number, never by the original values. Section 5.1 of the Privacy Policy explains that send. Refusing this category turns it off.
2.4 Preferences
They store choices of yours, such as the language you selected, so you do not have to repeat them on every visit.
3. Who sets cookies on this site
| Category | Who | What for |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Homio | Storing your consent choice and keeping the checkout flow |
| Necessary | Vercel BotID / Kasada | Telling people apart from bots on the forms |
| Necessary | Stripe | Security and fraud prevention on payment |
| Statistics | Google Analytics | Measuring page usage |
| Statistics | Microsoft Clarity | Understanding where people get stuck on a page |
| Marketing | Meta (Pixel) | Measuring ad results and remarketing |
| Marketing | Meta (Conversions API) | Confirming the conversion from our server, without depending on the browser |
| Marketing | Google Ads | Measuring ad conversions |
The statistics and marketing items are loaded only after you accept. Before that, the site fires none of those tags.
4. How you control this
On your first visit a banner appears with three options: accept everything, refuse what is not necessary, or choose by category.
- Your choice is recorded and respected on later visits.
- You can change your mind at any time through the cookie preferences link in the footer.
- Refusing statistics and marketing cookies does not limit anything the site offers.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. In that case the site may behave unexpectedly, because the necessary cookies would be affected as well.
5. How long they last
| Category | Typical duration |
|---|---|
| Record of your consent | 12 months |
| Necessary, session | Until you close the browser |
| Statistics | Up to 14 months |
| Marketing | Up to 6 months |
| Preferences | 12 months |
6. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom
The rule that applies to you is prior consent: nothing other than a strictly necessary cookie may be placed before you agree to it. That is how this site behaves, for every visitor and not only for visitors in Europe. The banner appears before any statistics or marketing tag loads, refusing is as easy as accepting, and withdrawing consent later takes the same number of clicks as giving it.
7. International transfers
Most of the providers above process data outside Brazil. The processing and the safeguards that apply are described in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
This policy changes when we add or remove a tool. The date at the top shows the last change, and a change that widens the collection requires fresh consent.
